NEAR AMARILLO, TEXAS
Founded in 1939 by Cal Farley, is a unique home
for boys of unfortunate circumstances. Once the
site of Tascosa, a bustling watering center for the
surrounding cattle country, the ranch is now home
to more than 200 boys. Virtually all of work on
the ranch is done by the boys themselves, even to
erection of new buildings. Visitors welcome during
daylight hours; best route is the Tascosa Rd., Farm
Rd. 1061 (total mileage: 30).
