This Living Memorial to the Texas A&M
Men who gave their lives for their country
during World Wars I & II, was opened in 1950.
It serves the college community as a social and
cultural, providing the means to a balanced
education. It is over a block long across the
front and includes food services, guest rooms,
bowling alleys, table tennis rooms, dance
floors, browsing library, record playing room,
game room, meeting rooms, art room, dark
rooms, craft shops, lounges and offices of the
former Student Association.
