Largest building on the A & M Campus,
noted for its Texas-sized structures, is the G.
Rollie White Coliseum. The building has a total
of 154,000 square feet of floor space, and a seat-
ing capacity of 8,500. The building was dedi-
cated on Sept. 18, 1954. It is named for George
Rollie White, member of the Texas A & M Board
since 1926, and prominent Texas Cattleman and
Banker.
