SATHER GATE is the principal entrance to the University of California Campus. A gift of Mrs. Jane K. Sather along with the Sather Tower known as "The Campanile," (right background) which rises to a 300 foot height. From this tower a view of the East Bay Cities and entire Bay area is obtainable.
