This picture taken in the early fifties of
the nineteenth century, shows on the right,
District School No. 19 (Destroyed by fire),
The Ogden House (moved), the Harness
Shop (demolished), and Dr. Herman Swift
House.
On the left is the Walloomsac Inn and
First Congregational Church, the oldest
hotel and church respectively, now standing
(1924) in Vermont.
