St. Anne's Church

| Built in 1856, this still stands on the high hill overlooking the fields of limestone boulders that were left by the miners, who washed all the loose dirt through the sluices and into the river. The church and cemetery remained inviolated, despite the fact that miners knew that gold in large amounts lies beneath. |
