Additional Details:
Wild Animals Series 401 (Cercopithecidae) Monkeys, of which there are numerous kinds of all sizes and descriptions, are found in most tropical countries where they live chiefly in colonies in the branches of trees. They are very intelligent animals, and when tamed, can be taught innumerable tricks; they are, however, extremely mischievous and not always to be trusted. Monkeys have hands like a man and often walk upright on two legs. Their principal food is fruit. They have great affection for their young. |
