Wild Animals Series 401
The fox family is a very large one, and is known the whole world over in one or other of its many varieties. It is noted for its exceeding cunning, and in some countries, especially England, is preserved for hunting purposes, for it is very swift of foot. The head of the Fox is called by sportsmen, the mask, the feet are pads, and the tail the brush. The female Fox is called a Vixen while her young are Cubs. These animals live in burrows and are very destructive to game and poultry.
