Two electric power plants operated by Dairyland
Power Cooperative for a combined generating capacity
of 410,000 KW - enough to supply the needs of 60,000
of the rural homes and farms that comprise Dairyland's
membership.
On the right is Genoa #2 (La Crosse Boiling Water
Reactor), a nuclear plant. On the left is Genoa #3,
a large coal-fired plant incorporating the latest in
combustion technology.
