The base of operations and supply for the
Atlantic and Scouting Fleet. On the same
reservation is
is located the Hampton
Hampton Roads
Naval Training Station, where more than fifty
per cent of all naval recruits are given their
first training; the Hampton Roads Naval Air
Base and the Hampton Roads Submarine Base.
