The Blue Hole, Castalia, O. HE BLUE HOLE was known years ago as an Indian medi- cine camp. Depth unknown, source of water underground river or channel. Temperature 48 degrees winter and summer. It never freczes, is not affected by floods or drouth. Discharges 5,000 gallons of water every minute. Fish can not live in the hole, as it is absolutely free from air or food. Photo by C. C.
