Sheep Shearers. The picture shows a typical group of
Australian shearers. These men are very expert and in
sheep shearing time many thousands of sheep pass through
their hands. The photograph has been taken at the finish
of the shearing, and in the background are some bales of
wool packed ready for shipment to England.
