Albert Brewer was elected Lt. Governor of Ala-
bama without opposition in the general election on
Nov. 8, 1966. In January, 1963 he was elected Z
Speaker of the House of Representatives and was
the youngest (age 34) ever elected to this high
post. He formerly represented Morgan County in
the legislature for 2 terms.
