drive a bargain with one ready for a price to become a traitor.-His remains were afterwards transferred and buried
in Westminster Abbey. General Arnold's treason revealed Sept. 26. Washington writes,Arnold's conduct is so villan-
ously perfidious, that there are no terms that can describe the baseness of his heart.
