INDIAN WAR DANCE-The war dance here
depicted was used to arouse the enthusiasm and to
enlist warriors for dangerous expeditions before the
departure of war parties. The dance was held in the
evening, fifteen men being sufficient, but as many as
twenty-five or thirty.could perform.
