FW-489 - BORDER SERVICES BUILDING, Browns-
ville, Texas. This building was completed at a cost
of approximately one-half million dollars and is
considered to be one of the finest Border Services
Buildings on either the Mexican or Canadian bor-
der. The building houses the U. S. Customs Service,
Immigration and Naturalization Service, Department
of Agriculture and Public Health Service Offices
who receive and inspect all persons crossing into
the United States from Mexico.
