MOHAWK GOLF CLUB
SCHENECTADY, N. Y.
Founded in 1898 and on present site in suburban
Town of Niskayuna since 1904. The picturesque 18-
hole, par 71, Championship Course, 6576 yards, is
renowned for its excellent greens. Gently rolling,
watered fairways and many well placed bunkers
present an ever varied challenge to scratch players
and duffers alike. Steeped in golf tradition, it was
the birthplace of the steel shaft golf club and the
famed Schenectady putter, both invented by the
late A. F. Knight. A 9-hole par-3 course was added
in 1958.
