This Geared Climax Locomotive was originally used on the Beebe River Logging R.R. Retired in 1927. Weight in operating order, 50 tons. The home of the Climax Loco is Corry, Pa. Manufacture began around 1882. The last one was built in 1928. The original Climax engine was designed and built by Edward Kinley of Corry, Pa. This engine is now restored and on display at Clark's Trading Post, No. Woodstock, N.H. and is part of a Green Pastures for Iron Horses Locomotive exhibit.
