Thomasville, situated on a ridge 273 feet
above sea level, in southwest Georgia is only
50 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. This city is
visited annually by thousands during the
winter on account of its mild climate, and
enjoys the distinction of being quite a health
resort as many people have come here to
regain their health. It is easily accessible
by motor as Thomasville is served by three
U. S. Highways — Nos. 19, 84 and 319.
