Additional Details:
Adamsville is about twelve miles from Birmingham and is near the center of its large industrial activity. Some idea of the wonderful development of the country in the past ten years can be gained from the fact that Birmingham increased in population from 1900 to 1910 two hundred and forty-five percent. It is the greatest industrial section of the South. The state ranks second in the production of cotton; the corn crop in 1910 was valued at forty-five million dollars. Other agricultural pursuits are equally profitable.
