Shown in this picture is the newly completed, twelve-
story main building of Saint Joseph Hospital with a bed
capacity of 480. Serving the sick and injured since 1889,
Fort Worth's first hospital is conducted by the Congrega-
tion of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.
Linked with providing patient care is the effort to
provide skilled personnel to provide that care. The hos-
pital offers educational programs in anesthesia, medical
technology, radiologic technology and vocational nursing.
