You can well imagine the pleasure Mrs. Porter must have re-
ceived as a consequence of this window. Here she could gaze
out over the wide sweep of Sylvan Lake to the island beyond.
This was and is a "picture window" of the finest type — it
frames a beautiful picture in all seasons.
