In the spring of 1965 this 9000 permanent seat
stadium became the home of the "Toledo Mud
Hens“, of the International Baseball League.
The entire recreation and sports areas, which in-
cludes 4 lighted softball diamonds, a large
recreation hall, 3 swimming pools and numerous
other recreation facilities along with picnic grounds
and spacious parking areas, covers 94 acres.
