The flowers that bloom in the Spring, tra la, afford visitors
to the World's Fair of 1940 in New York a rare glimpse of
Nature in her most glowing mood. The beautiful entrance
(above) to the Gardens on Parade exhibit is a typical sample
of the magnificent horticultural displays on view on the other
side of the portals. The greatest outdoor floral spectacle ever
seen, Gardens on Parade consists of some 50 outdoor gardens
near the British and Italian Pavilions at the big exposition on
Flushing Meadow,
