ica, found its way into Southwest Texas. The
body of the animal is encased in jointed armor
of hornlike substance, prettily marked.
The possibility of converting it into baskets and
other interesting items of original design suggest-
ed itself to Chas. Apelt of Comfort, Texas.
These baskets are such interesting and beautiful
curios, that the demand has become world wide.
