U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL. This beautiful Greek palace
at Hospital Point, opposite old Fort Norfolk, was built 1828-9
at a cost of $2,000,000, and accommodates 600. Here the aged
and disabled sailors of the navy are treated and taken care of
at the expense of the Government.
