Looking from the main loop road which serves the passenger
terminals at KCI, this view shows the control tower and manage-
ment building complex which constitutes the nerve center of
the airport. From atop the 225 ft. tower, air traffic controllers
survey the entire sweep of the airport operations area and govern
the safety of arriving and departing aircraft. An attractive flag
plaza adorns the entrance to the management building.
