Artist, Stephen Rich Nelson, creates hand-blown

Alglass and cast glass sculptures. He was born in
Washington, D.C., in 1956 and moved to the South
Pacific during his childhood. He now lives in the wooded
countryside of Pennsyivania, where he has converted a
barn into a hot g.uss shop.
In 1980, he earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art,
Temple University, and in 1982, he graduated from Rhode
Island School of Design with a MFA in glass. His work can
be seen in the permanent collections of the Corning
