LOOKING EAST IS SEEN THE CITY OF BURLINGTON, SITUATED ON THE SLOPING BILLSIDE AND AND EXTENDING NORTH AND SOUTH FOR ABOUT LIVE MILES. ITS TALLEST BUILDINGS AND SPIRES ARE ONLY VISIBLE AMID THE BOWER OF TREES WHICH LINE ITS STREETS. IN THE DISTANCE ARE THE GREEN MOUNTAINS, WHICH FORM A PLEASING BACK GROUND TO THE BEAUTIFUL PICTURE.
