Augusta's new Municipal Auditorium, dedi-
cated in April, 1940, is one of the largest, most
usable and modern auditoriums in the South-
east.
It is constructed of Augusta brick, steel
and reinforced concrete. The Main Auditorium
and Music Hall, with a common stage, have a
combined seating capacity of 5,064, all with a
view of the stage. If needed, arrangements can
be made for an additional 1,000 seats.
