QUANTICO, VA., WITH POST DOCKS IN FOREGROUND
This view shows a portion of the City of Quantico with the Marine
Corps Schools' Docks in the foreground. Quantico is surrounded
on three sides by the Marine reservation and on the east by the
Potomac River. It is about 37 miles south of Washington, D. C.
and only a few miles to Triangle, Virginia, on U. S. Highway No. I.
Today, Quantico is a point of reunion for the Leathernecks and
furnishes civilian services to the Marines.
