MARINE CORPS AIR STATION - This view shows the hangars
and some aircraft in line. July of 1918 saw the birth of air activity
at Quantico. The Air Station includes Brown Field and Turner
Field. Here, helicopter operations are taught and new doctrines
are developed. The Marine Corps Aviation Technical School
trains officers and enlisted men in aviation ground work.
