Club of Virginia, with a membership of about
2,700, said to be the largest south of New
York, is located at Rio Vista, about three miles
west of Richmond. The site overlooks a
winding sweep of the James River, and the
wooded heights of Chesterfield County on the
opposite shore. In point of comfort, con-
venience and the general character of its
appointments, it is not surpassed by any
Country Club in the United States,
