THE SARUS CRANES CROW THEIR DELIGHT
As tall as a man, the Sarus Crane of India
is the largest of the crane family and among
the rarest. They are seldom raised in capti-
vity, so small wonder this pair crows its de-
light at the prospect of raising a family in
the Santa Catalina Island Bird Park. Their
food consists of grain, grass and insects.
