Highland Light, standing on the unusual formation called Clay Pounds, is one of the largest on the Atlantic Coast and is known the world over. It may not be generally known that these lighthouses are open daily to the public and that they can be inspected between 9 and 12 o'clock in the morning and 2 and 4 in the afternoon.
