Built by an early Governor of Mississippi,
Alexander McNutt, about 1828, this is one of
the oldest houses in Vicksburg. It is a е
frame structure, two-stories high, with SideB
lines and steep roof of the Colonial yaww Eng-
land type. Despite its great age, this charms
ing old ante-bellum home is still in a 1960
markable stage of preservation.
