"Tower above us, oh proud temple, monument of German might, Stand for honesty of purpose; stand for harmony and right." These words, reverently spoken, the gentle thrice tapping of a time-honored trowel upon a massive block of granite, the glad raising of the German flag, an American pennant streaming proudly above It, and the laying of the corner-stone of the new German Hospital was triumphantly completed. President Henry Epstein pronounced the dedicating words and reviewed briefly the history of the hospital and the German General Benevolent Society.
