San Francisco Bay Area Post Card Club Meeting: Saturday, August 25, 12-3 PM Fort Mason Center, Room C-210 Laguna Street at Marina Boulevard Program: Our Gang movies of the '20s to '40s offer a look back at a childhood of ingenuity and creativity much different from today's consumer culture. Our Gang was never matched in its popularity and the many memorable characters it produced like Spanky McFarland, Farina, Darla and Froggy. The August program will highlight the early real photo post cards of the cast and may include the showing of a short episode that will remind us of why these movies are still popular.
