grandson of William Henry Harrison,
had a farm raising and a village sch0oling,
followed by a university course.
Civil War he won a brigadier-generalship.
Afterward he served six years in the Sen-
ate, and four years as President. His ad-
ministration was clean, business-like and
free from scandals.
