A Gondola nears the end of its 6800-foot ride up
Wildcat Mt. In the background are Mt. Adams
(right) and Mt. Madison (left) of the famous
Presidential Range. Built in the heart of the
scenic splendor of the White Mountain National
Forest, the Wildcat Gondola was the first in the
U.S. and its colorful cars operate year 'round
for sightseers in summer and fall and skiers in
the winter.
