LANDING AND RAILWAY STATION. The
principal landing on the Ocklawaha is Silver Springs, the
largest and most beautiful of all the Springs of Florida. Here
the Seaboard Railway meets the river steamboats. This Spring
is said to be the traditional “Fountain of Youth'', of which
Ponce De Leon heard and for which he so vainly searched.
