THE CORDOVA HOTEL, was originally a separate
structure, but is now united with the Alcazar Hotel as its
east wing. The combined construction represents two styles
of architecture, the Alcazar typifying the Spanish Renaissance,
the Cordova wing suggesting, in its heavy walls and battle-
mented towers, the ancient castles and town defences of Spain,
with some Moorish treatment.
