RAISIN BREAD TOAST
Dissolve 2 cakes yeast and 2 tablespoonsful sugar
in 1 cup luke warm water, add. 4 cups flour, 8 table-
spoonsful butter and 1% cup sugar well creamed and
beat until smooth; cover and set aside to rise in a warm
place about one hour and a half. When well risen
add 1% cup of "California Sun Maid Raisins" well
floured; 8 cups of flour, 2 cups milk scalded and cooled to make a not too soft dough;
6 beaten eggs, 2 teaspoonsful salt; knead lightly. Place in bowl, cover and let rise again
until double in bulk. Mold into loaves; fill in well greased pan half full, cover and let rise
again, and bake 45 minutes according to size of mould and oven. Use quick fire for toasting.
