My Dear Sir:
Referring to matters political, do you not think
it wise for the people to vote to “let well enough
alone ?” Taft or Wilson is going to be elected.
There is no doubt of this fact; a vote for Roose-
velt is a vote toward the election of Wilson.
Wilson's election will mean disaster, distress and
ruin to the business interests of the country;
a return of free soup houses, Coxy's armies, the
hard times and low prices of 1893 to 1897. The
tariff plank of the 1912 democratic platform is
word for word the same as that of 1892. You
know what it did to all interests and industries
then. Like follows like; it will do the same again.
A vote for Mr. Taft is a vote to maintain our pres-
ent prosperous times; a vote for a safe, sane
and statesmanly administration. Your assistance
in his behalf will be highly appreciated by
DR, VT, DUNAWAY,
FOR CONGRESS.
