BOCA GRANDE is a semi-tropical Island ?
colony on the southwest coast of Florida, with
direct train service from all points, over the
railroad bridge from the mainland to the Sta-
tion, which is two miles from Boca Grande
Pass, the southern terminus of Charlotte Har-
bor, which has the reputation of being the
finest fishing waters for game fish, including
the famous Tarpon, in the world. Auto road
from Placida to Tamiami Trail at Englewood
gives connections with all highways. Ferry-
boat, carrying autos and passengers, leaves
Placida at 9:30 A. M. and 4:30 P. M. for Boca
Grande.
