On the third floor of the free museum at Nineteenth and the Parkway is the Audubon Bird Hall, showing the birds of the world in natural settings. This hall is named for John James Audubon, who was a member of The Academy and who gave his first public showing of his water colors of birds in The Academy in 1824.
