Captain photographer, from Casalmoro (Cremona), to memory: Official photographer of exceptional ability, five times decorated for valor, in three campaigns fought on all fronts where the Italian wing was called to operate, demonstrate the specialists of the weapon can combine professional skills with the highest military virtue. In a daring mission against opposing naval units, to which he had insistently asked to participate, in order to once again document the glorious activity of the operating departments, under the violent enemy counter-attack and the repeated attaches of the enemy fighter, he left the car taken and took the place of bard's weapons. Hit by enemy bursts, despite having the device on fire, he continued to direct the fire of the machine gun against the assailant aircraft, until, overwhelmed by the unequal struggle, he fell into the sea.
