The Prince of Wales Series 3331
(Edward, Albert, Christian, George, Andrew, Patrick, David) was born at White Lodge, Richmond, June 23rd, 1894. Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester, Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Baron of Renfrew, Lord of the Isles and Great Steward of Scotland, High Steward of Windsor, K.G., G.M.M.G., G.M.B.E., M.C., Personal A.D.C. to H.M. The King, Col. Welsh Guards, Col.-in-Chief Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, Col.-in-Chief Royal Wilts Yeomanry, Col.-in-Chief Cadet Corps of U.K., a Captain R.N., and Col. Grenadier Guards. He was attached to the Head Quarters Staff in France and served throughout the war where as H.R.H. himself expressed it at the Mansion House. "In those four years I mixed with men. In those four years I found my manhood." In 1919 he visited Canada and the United States and in 1920 Australia and New Zealand and by his manly cheerfulness, unassuming manner, and unfailing courtesy won the hearts of all with whom he came in contact.
