WORLD FLAG
By Florence Resor Jardine
Fling out a flag, a flag for the world,
A brotherhood flag-let it now be unfurled.
Emblem of kinship of races and lands,
Symbol of sacrifice, sharing demands.
Five colors fling out; five bars let it be;
A flag universal for you and for me.
Black for the Negro, a bar at the base;
Yellow for those of Mongolian race;
White for Caucasian; brown for Malay;
Red for the Indian, Oh, fly it, I pray!
One flag for all nations; now lift it, unfurled,
Binding together God's wonderful world.
