The Army Service Corps is aptly
described as the feeders of the whole Army, and
on it depends the efficiency of the fighting
forces. It not only provides all the food and
forage for the men and horses, but has to
transport everything the Army needs. The badge
is the Corps monogram within the Garter,
surmounted by a Crown, the whole emblazoned
on an eight-pointed star.
